Like a Dragon 8 Background:
The game features an open world focusing on the port district Isezaki Ijincho, Yokohama, a fictionalized Isezakicho, Yokohama; red-light district Kamurocho, Tokyo, a fictionalized Kabukicho, Tokyo; and a fictionalized version of Honolulu, Hawaii.
With no money, cellphone, or local friends to help, Kasuga is once again forced to build himself back up from the bottom, finding ways to earn money and stay alive as he continues his search for Akane, trying to find her before any of the criminal syndicates operating in Honolulu find her first. Helping him in his efforts is the legendary Kazuma Kiryu, who has traveled to Honolulu on behalf of the Daidoji Faction.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is an RPG with a turn-based battle system, just like its predecessor. The game lets players pick up to four characters to fight different monsters as a party.
In this game, players can manually move their character into position before launching an attack or skill instead of relying on the AI pathfinding themselves in the previous title.

Well, things have taken a crazy turn.
A new video for Like a Dragon 8 from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio exists.
As it turns out, the subtitle of the new game is “Unlimited Riches,” and not only that, but it looks like the protagonist, Ichiban Kasuga, will be traveling to the United States in the new game.
It will mark the first time a mainline series game has made it out of Japan and into the international realm, so like Dragon 8, it is already a lot different than its predecessor.
